INJADE combines the folk rock sounds of Adrienne and the bluesy uptempo rock and roll of David Tortolano. Together they form a unique and refreshing sound with musical influences that range from Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, and Ricki Lee Jones, to Peter Gabriel, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Bob Marley.

Adrienne and David have worked together on and off for several years. They have written, recorded, arranged and sang on commercials for Cellular One, Ford, Scudder Investments and Mascoma Bank. Their song “Magazine Girls” was one of the top selections out of 3000 entries in the international Unisong songwriting contest. Their song, “Water” was chosen to be the opening song for the Looe Key Underwater Music Festival. They were also commissioned to write and record a song for a CD entitled, “Staying Out of the Risky Zone,” a contemporary music and curriculum project addressing HIV prevention, teen pregnancy and sexuality issues.

Currently INJADE is performing and recording their upcoming debut CD, “Conchtown.” They perform at, The Conch Republic Seafood Company, Hawks Cay, the Lorelei and the Zane Gray Lounge, to name a few.
